I haven’t been happy with Texas for a while. A long while. However, it is most definitely the {stolen} land of my ancestors and has a good hold on me. I have a very strong connection to this corner of the state. 

The other day I was thinking of this talented Texan. So many of his songs have stayed with me through the years and are among my favorites. Truth be told though, I’d rather move to Pittsburgh or anywhere in Vermont.
