Pirate radio lives on despite the comfy availability of owning your own online radio station. It is easier today to have your own personally programmed online station, yet, the ionosphere is still very alluring. If having your very own, personal radio station doesn't carry a fine of $1,000 to $100,000 and up to one year in jail plus confiscation of all gear, then where is the thrill? Nothing more romantic than receiving some cool tune through a transistor radio.
