It was the perfect evening for homemade caldo de pollo with Mexican rice. It has been raining outside and a cool front is coming in.

We had a Dolly Madison treat  for dessert.  It's the only thing to snack on when watching Peanuts! The DVD sets that came out this week didn't include the original Dolly Madison commercials but that is my only complaint. That was a good campaign. Just about thirty years later, despite how I feel about junk food, I reach for a Dolly Madison treat.
