9 ladies dancing and 10 lords a leaping
Tomorrow I'll be entering the skating rink for the first time in months and I'm excited. A non-skating knee injury has kept me from Playland since August. I have missed it. A cold floor can be slippery so I'll wait a good 45 minutes or so before I enter, with knee pads. If everyone shows up there will be close to nine ladies dancing and ten lords a leaping. There are three ex-professional skaters who can do some awesome leaping and double axles and several really awesome regulars who just amaze me. It's really cozy there in the winter under all the colored lights and disco ball.

You're an ice skater? I'm in awe, that's wonderful! I would be right on that cold floor all the time if I tried, but I love watching ice skating, so graceful. Have fun!
Francesca, I love ice skaters too but no, I roller skate. That is why I am so amazed with the jumpers and leapers because it's roller skating but they are as graceful as ice skaters. Double axles!
hey! i love watching and doing ice skating - actually i've tried twice and i fell to the ice rink a bunch of times but anyway it's awesome! i used to roller skate too but nowaday i just do the casual skateboard :]
