We did a test run on our family Halloween costme: Beatnik Family, at a function this weekend. It was especially fun for me and I was giddy the whole time. When we got home, costumes came off and husband and baby started to settle down.

I looked in the mirror. It has been a long time since I played dress up. Beatnik Mommy became an Italian film star circa 1960. I needed that.
