Easters

"Easters" is what August has been excited about for about three weeks now. The eggs and baskets and thoughts of the "Easters Egg Bunny" bringing her books and toys. This morning she is still wishing everyone Happy Easter.

We made cascarones and popped a few on Easters but everyday this week I surprise August by cracking one over her head when she isn't expecting it. She laughs, squeals and shouts out "Happy Easter, it's Easters!!!!" when I do. While the day was grey and grumpy, August still enjoyed egg hunts. She tried her very first Peep as I watched from afar... cringing. It was just a few nibbles and after the ears she was done. She received baskets from friends, family and neighbors, gathered all bunnies, even those that were my own Easter surprises and
